  1. 2004 F-250

Posted by Dexter on Mar 12th 2018

I ordered these mirrors, but was notified very promptly that they were out of stock. They offered to send the textured black mirrors instead and notify me when chrome replacement caps were available. I took the offer so this is not really a review of the chrome cap mirrors, but since they are essentially the same thing, I don't see the harm. The mirrors arrived promptly and well packed. Installation is fairly simple, however I was already familiar with how to remove the door panel and existing mirrors. An instruction sheet or a how-to video link would be a welcome thing to many I would imagine. I did have one issue that bears mentioning. The replacement mirror had what I can only assume to an extra alignment tab molded into the mounting surface. My truck had no hole for this tab to fit into, nor did the OEM mirrors that I removed have the tab. I had to remove it before the mirror would sit flush on the door. No biggie, a few seconds with a dremel and it was gone. Other models may have a hole for this, I don't know. Other than that, the installation was smooth, simple and the mirrors functioned exactly as they should. The passengers side mirror does have the slightest vibration in the main glass, but it barely noticeable and I probably wouldn't notice it at all if the other 3 pieces of glass were not solid and stable. This could also be the result of the position I have it adjusted to.

TL;dr Minor install issue, mirrors work as they should

  2. 2002 f250

I just installed these mirrors on my 2002 F250. The overall look of the mirrors, as well as the LED marker lights and turn signals look great. The only cons so far, no wiring diagram, or any other paperwork came with the mirrors. time will tell on the rest of it.
