  1. love them

Fit great eazy install look great well worth the money

  2. Best $300 I spent on my truck

Posted by James on May 22nd 2017

The stock mirrors on my Ford leave a pretty bad blind spot behind the B-pillar, along with the occasional need to tow a trailer prompted me to look into large tow mirrors.

Ordering mirrors through Ford after the purchase of the vehicle is +/- $1,500. Thankfully I found Syppo.

After ordering the mirrors they shipped and arrived quickly. Installation was a breeze, 4 bolts on either side and a plug and play wiring harness. All the original features were there, turn signals, heated glass, side spot lights, even added clearance lights. I don't have the blind spot monitoring system otherwise I think the mirrors would cause an issue with that.

The mirrors look great and as far as I'm concerned are indistinguishable from factory tow mirrors. The mirrors work like they should and pull out about 2-3 inches for towing.

    Highly recommended.

  3. Still buy them

Posted by Robert on Apr 25th 2017

Here's to hoping an in-depth review will help out other buyers with questions. First off, I currently have a 2016 F150, with BLIS, heated mirrors, photochromatic, and power glass. They are manual folding. I have a 22-pin connector for this mirror. I should note that to check your harness prior to purchasing, all you have to do is pop off the plastic cover inside the door for the mirror housing, and simply unplug the harness. It's right there. They arrived in about 8 days after ordering.

I bought these syppo mirrors to tow a 34ft travel trailer with. Installation is extremely easy. I know very little about cars, and installs, etc, but it takes 5 minutes to swap both mirrors. Pop off the plastic cover, 4 - 10mm bolts, unplug the harness, pull it out. That's it.

As for the syppo mirrors. The pins on the new mirror are EXTREMELY FRAGILE, and not like he OEM pins. So be cautious when plugging it in. The main (upper) glass is magnified, and a little tough to get used to if you're used to using your mirrors to back into parking spaces, driveways, etc. the blind spot (lower) glass on my left mirror is good, but there's heavy distortion on the passenger side, and I cannot make out smooth lines, like lane lines, curbs etc. but it works for exactly what it says - checking your blind spot. The signals in the mirror are a lighter shade of yellow than what is shown in the pictures on this website. I actually think it looks pretty sharp at night. They are running lights too, so the entire lens is lit up when the headlights are on. Kinda dumb though that only the tips function as turn signals.

BLIS disables in the truck when you have tow/haul mode on, so I wasn't too concerned that these mirrors don't support BLIS. It also deactivates the cross-traffic alert when you're backing up. So every time you start your truck and drive, you'll get two dash warnings, one for blind spot fault and one for cross-traffic fault. The manual telescoping works like it should. Manual folding actually takes a lot of force to close them. The passenger mirror seems to pop out of its groove when trying to unfold it so it needs to be monitored more closely than just "grab and pull."

Overall, this was a $280 set of mirrors I needed for towing. And they did the job. I would recommend them, absolutely for towing. To keep all the options I mentioned above with my OEM mirror, they cost about $1,500 from the dealer. Once I was done towing my trailer, I swapped the OEM mirrors back in, and the warning lights went away. Hope this helps anyone out there in the market for these mirrors.

  4. great for the price

Posted by Unknown on Feb 24th 2017

I purchased these to upgrade to tow mirrors. These are the only ones I could find on th market that look like factory mirrors and have the same function my truck has spot light puddle lights turn signals heated and powerd. Plus I gained the parking lights, truck was wired for it but stock mirrors didn't have that. They fit perfect install took about 15 min just plugged them in and everything worked.
However the light functions work but not great the puddle light no where near as bright as stock, turn signals are 2 small led's that really only seen from blind spot not front view. The spot light feature is low light doesn't come close to factory led spot lamps. The park lamps are yellow and not bright unless in total darkness. But for the money probably the best aftermarket deal out. I am satisfied

  5. F150 XLT Tow Mirrors

Posted by Unknown on Dec 29th 2016

Mirrors are exact OEM mirrors just with the 21 pin plug remove and the 8 Pin connector wired in. Installation is about 20 minutes per mirror. One trim panel and 4 bolts unplug old mirror and bolt the new mirror on and plug in. Great investment.

  6. Better than Ford item

Posted by Unknown on Dec 28th 2016

Mirrors were a perfect fit. The Ford accessory units didn't have heat, power, or turn signals. Cost less than the Ford units too.

  7. good mirrors for the price

Posted by Matt on Dec 27th 2016

Mirrors fit well and bolt right on as they should. The lower convex mirror on both of mine seem to be distorted around the edges but overall they're good mirrors. I did not have the factory directional or defrost option on my stock mirrors. I can confirm that the directionals work on these replacements but have not been able to test the defrost option yet. If you don't want to spend the $1,500+ on ford tow mirrors these are the best option for the price.

  8. Top notch product and service

Posted by Robert Thompson on Dec 23rd 2016

Installed mirrors. They mounted easy, they work properly, Rock solid with no vibration or shake. They offer exelent vision and at a price 1/3 the cost of OEM Ford mirrors.
